Corkboard Q&A with The Real Wolf of Wine, Jermaine Stone

What do white Burgundy, trap music, and Pulp Fiction all have in common? Jermaine Stone.

Jermaine (@realwolfofwine) is a Bronx native and President and CEO of Cru Luv Wine who came to wine by way of rap. By age 19, he had the attention of LL Cool J and by 20 he was packaging Burgundy in boxes at Zachys Wine Auctions. Fast forward and Jermaine became Logistics Manager, overseeing the inbound and outbound transport of $60 million worth of fine wine annually. From there he went on to create online bidding and live simulcast auction bidding at Wally’s.

In other words, he’s seen a lot of incredible cellars and baller wines. Today, you’ll find Jermaine running Cru Love, his own wine branding and marketing firm, throwing down at hip hop and wine battles, running events, and producing his podcast - Hip Hop & Wine. I caught up with Jermaine while he was sipping through some Burgundy at a tasting in New York and we went deep on White Burgs, trap music, Pulp Fiction — oh, and weed. You’ll have to keep reading…
